Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh. You may want to stroll through Ben Thanh Market to get a taste of local flavors or visit nearby attractions like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office to kickstart your journey in Vietnam.
Today, experience two of Southern Vietnam's most iconic highlights. Start with a morning visit to the Mekong Delta, where you’ll explore the region’s lush landscape, fruit orchards, and waterways. Sail along the river on a traditional boat, visiting local villages and learning about life in this fertile area.
In the afternoon, head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of underground passages used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Crawl through sections of the tunnels, see historical exhibits, and learn about the tactics used during the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening for a wellearned rest.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, head to the charming town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its preserved architecture and vibrant lanternlit streets.
Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An’s Ancient Town, visiting sites like the Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient merchant houses, and local temples. Today, take a fullday excursion to the famous Ba Na Hills, located just outside Da Nang. Ride the Ba Na cable car, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests, and visit the iconic Golden Hands Bridge, an impressive structure seemingly held up by giant stone hands. Explore the French Village with its charming European architecture and enjoy the cooler mountain air.
In the evening, catch a flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing night in the city.
Embark on a fullday tour of the Ninh Binh province, also known as the Ha Long Bay on land due to its striking karst formations and scenic waterways. Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, and explore its historic temples.
Afterward, head to Tam Coc for a peaceful boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, passing through rice fields and under towering limestone cliffs. You can also visit the Bich Dong Pagoda, a beautiful temple nestled into the hillside. Return to Hanoi in the evening.
After breakfast, depart for a fullday cruise on Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its emerald waters and thousands of limestone islands. Sail through the bay on a traditional wooden junk boat, passing iconic formations like Sung Sot Cave and Titov Island.
Enjoy lunch on board as you soak in the stunning views, and take part in activities such as kayaking or swimming. After a day exploring the bay’s beauty, return to Hanoi in the evening.
