Upon your arrival at Srinagar’s Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel or houseboat. After checking in and freshening up, head out in the afternoon for a memorable Shikara ride on the tranquil Dal Lake. Glide through the serene waters, surrounded by the majestic Zabarwan mountains, and soak in the beauty of floating gardens, vibrant houseboats, and the charming local life on the lake. As you drift past lily pads and quaint markets, take the time to capture photographs and relish the scenic ambiance. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds. On arrival, explore the stunning Aru and Betaab Valleys, known for their breathtaking scenery, meandering streams, and verdant meadows. If you wish, take a leisurely walk along the banks of the Lidder River or indulge in a pony ride. Spend the evening at your hotel in Pahalgam, enjoying the tranquillity and cool mountain air. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
This morning, bid farewell to Pahalgam and make your way back to Srinagar. After check-in and some relaxation time, begin your Srinagar city tour by visiting the enchanting Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love). Continue to the Shankaracharya Temple, situated atop Shankaracharya Hill, and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Srinagar. Overnight stay at a hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.
After an early breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Gulmarg. On arrival, take a leisurely walk through the lush meadows and enjoy the fresh air. You can opt for a Gondola ride (cable car) to Khilanmarg or Apharwat Peak for magnificent views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Explore local attractions like the Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest golf courses in the world, and the historic St. Mary’s Church. Return to Srinagar in the evening and check in to your houseboat. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
After a leisurely breakfast on your houseboat, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a quick visit to the Hazratbal Shrine or a stroll through the nearby gardens before saying goodbye to the beautiful Kashmir Valley. Your journey ends here with fond memories and a promise to return.
